walk with me
walk with me?
–
AliB
come walk with me
pop over to London
we can plan a walk
with two or four
–
my Andrew has read a book
on historical city walks
with tales
of murders
old churches
burial grounds in fields
of hidden buildings
there is treasure
to be found
for that I am sure
–
with Andrew’s tales
duly noted
reworded
re-imagined
–
with our walk in mind
I can show you
how to fly over rooftops
ascending
descending
how to skim low
along an arrow
on the ground
–
a gentle warning
our walk may go
into unknown territory
we will let it flow over us
with intent unknown
–
yes I agree AliB
we will start the walk
with a plan
following the directionality
of our steps
along unknown routes
of common land
crossing private paths
as we go
–
tell Ron AliB
there is much fun
to be had
with anticipation
with glee
like children
we look forward to spring
when you will be released
from your Baltic shores
to join us
on a walk of wonder
on our city streets
