I am block free

–
a week on
i remember
just being me
is not as easy
as it appeared to be
when flying high
skimming low
during our urban exploratory
–
no longer a two
i am back
down on this earth
trying to make it all work
–
un-anchored
floating with a heavy base
as i retrace our steps
along #citystreet
–
a thought pops into my head
a light shines strong…
at the top
of a building over there
i thank-you Ash
for it is
through my new found words
of conversational poetry
i am able to recapture
the playful wonder
of being lost
–
with purpose i stride
intent unknown
like iceboy must feel
when following
his dad James
with unbidden joy
a playfulness in tow
which we relearn
from our children’s innocence
of living in the mo
